My music career began at the age of ten where I started playing drums and writing music. Throughout High School I performed with a number of School bands then went on to study music at College, obtaining a Distinction in Popular music and recording.
I graduated from Salford University with BA HONS degree in Popular music and recording with a 1st in Composition and performance, Here i formed my band Incassum as apart of a performance module. With Incassum I have co-wrote, recorded and released (through Rocksector Records) two albums, both of which have received praise from national press like Kerrang magazine and Metal Hammer Magazine. Incassum have been on three UK and Ireland tours, played festivals like bloodstock Open Air and have two music videos.
As an individual musician I have recorded at some prestigious studios like Parr street studios in Liverpool and Lisa Stansfield’s studio, Graciland. I am gaining a good reputation as session drummer and have recorded many artists including Sami Yusufs guitar player John Lawton. I recorded and produced 5 drum videos to promote me as a drummer and composer. I have recently finished two Theatre productions, one with Safi Productions in a Micheal Jackson Theatre show in front of 800 people at Congress theatre. The second was a week long musical Theatre production in London with Kingston Vale Theatre group.
Performing live is a huge passion of mine, averaging 100 shows a year. I tour with Incassum and regularly perform live with a professional Function band. In my career I have played live alongside John Power (TheLas/Cast) Blaze Bailey ( Formerly Iron Maiden) Dave Evans ( Formerly AC/DC) Slayer and Lamb of God
I have been teaching drums for 6 years, teaching privately and at schools. I received training at Presto Music school who have locations in Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington and Wrexham. I teach my private lessons at a professional rehearsal and recording studio, Noiseboy Studio, located just 5 minutes from The BBC, Media City, Salford Quays. I can teach students whatever they would like to learn, from Grades, recording techniques, performance skills, songs by their favourite artists and most importantly get students having fun.
