New Book From Our Resident Drum Teacher.

Matt Dean has written many of our drum lessons and recorded several drum teacher video’s showing how to teach particular drumming skills, but now he has ventured into the crime novel as well. Drums, sex and rock ‘n’ roll with a little revengeful murder thrown in. RUN RABBIT RUN delivers fast paced action from the first chapter to the last as an ex-con embarks on a journey of revenge which takes him from gritty London, through Europe, Northern Ireland and back to London before he finds what he wants.

Matt Dean lives in Surrey with his wife and son. He has worked as a professional drummer and drum tutor for many years whilst also writing for many magazines around the world, both in musical and non-musical fields. He also wrote THE DRUM: A HISTORY published by Scarecrow Press in 2011 as the most comprehensive study of the drum and its history available. This book can be viewed at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Drum-History-Matt-Dean/dp/0810881705

He also publishes a drummer blog with masses of resources, video lessons, and general articles of interest to drummers. This can be found at www.mattdeanworld.co.uk.

In these industries he mixed with some of the most colourful and entertaining types of people, many of which helped to add depth to the ficticious characters in his mind. With these experiences he wrote RUN RABBIT RUN, his debut novel. This fast moving action thriller grabs the reader from the open chapter to the last and keeps them there throughout. Based on the exploits of a rising rock band caught up in the hectic, drug fueleed lifestyle, a dark and sinister character is after revenge, and somewhere down the line, the rock world’s darlings are about to cross the path of this physchotic killer.

Any fan of the likes of Martina Cole or Simon Kernick is sure to enjoy RUN RABBIT RUN.
