Drum off between Chad Smith and Will Ferrell – Part 2

You may remember we reported a few Months back that Red Hot Chilli Peppers drummer Chad Smith had been in a drum off with his look-a-like Hollywood film star Will Ferrell. It appears that Chad Smith and Will Ferrell may be hooking up in yet another epic battle. Chad told Rolling Stone last week that they want to do something in 2015 to combine music and comedy—”a show.” In case you missed it, the pair who are often accused of looking alike, held a drum battle on the Tonight Show this year. Ferrell “won” thanks to some dubious tricks and an old Saturday Night live routine.

There’s also a new Red Hot Chili Peppers album nearing completion so it’s likely we’ll hear new tracks and possibly see a big tour commencing next year. According to our sources in the Chad Smith camp, this is just the tip of the iceberg of what he’s got planned with Ferrell, so stay tuned.
