Video of amazing 3 year old drummer.

My Drum Lessons have just seen the video of a 3 year-old boy from Russia with incredible drumming ability. Keep watching his solo at the end. Lyonya Shilovsky from the city of Novosibirsk drummed his way into the limelight earlier this year when he appeared on the Russian talent show “Minute of Fame” and now a You Tube video of him in action has gone crazy around the World.

Drummer Lyonya is seen in the video leading an orchestra of senior musicians through a rousing section of Jacques Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, more commonly known as the Can-Can. The grown up musicians can be seen looking at him in amazement as he drums away in a professional fashion. At the end, after being coaxed away from his drum kit, Lyonya stands up to receive a bunch of flowers and takes a bow to the audience.

The fantastic performance took place at the Concert Hall of Arnold Katz in Novosibirsk on Feb 19th 2014 but footage of it has only recently came to light online. Many watchers have praised Lyonya’s drumming talent, deeming it ‘astonishing’.  One fan said : ‘Ha! So cute! Love the look at the end! He wanted to play all night!”
