MSC Launches Acousticx
Drummers love something new – and if a new product is exciting, inexpensive, easy to play and lets the drummer indulge his (or her) craft just about anywhere, even better! So the Music Shipping Company is delighted to announce the UK launch of Acousticx drumming tubes – a brand new percussion product devised and developed by Paul Wertico, drummer with Pat Metheny for 18 years and currently an Assistant Professor of Jazz at Roosevelt University in Chicago.
Acousticx drumming tubes have to be heard, played and seen to be believed. Essentially plastic tubes in stick shape, they can easily produce a satisfying percussion sound and have a place at all levels of musical ability, from primary school children, to practising and jamming with friends, right up to professional level performances and studio use for drummers and percussionists.
Acousticx give a unique sound at a controlled volume. They are non-damaging so can be used on any surface or even in mid-air as claves. Acoustics can be used on the floor, desks, and chairs or on any surface in any environment.
Priced at just £9 per pair, Acousticx are made from a specially formulated material and will last almost indefinitely. The material is even eventually fully recyclable. Acousticx are available immediately throughout the UK.
To quote Paul Wertico, “Be careful, they are addictive!!”
