Bonzo Bash NAMM Jamm Lineup Revealed

The East Coast celebrated the life and legacy of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham earlier this year in New Jersey with Bonzo Bash, and now the West Coast will have their own party to commemorate the legendary drummer at the Bonzo Bash NAMM Jamm 2014 event on Jan. 23 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, Calif.

The brainchild of drummer Brian Tichy, Bonzo Bash is equal parts inspiration and celebration as a bevy of talented musicians join forces to perform Led Zeppelin songs, culminating with a spontaneous percussion jam allowing everyone a chance behind the kit.

Bonzo Bash Namm Jamm already has close to thirty drummers on board featuring some of rock and metal’s favourites from Korn’s Ray Luzier to Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante.

Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction, Mike Portnoy of the Winery Dogs and Poison’s Rikki Rockett are also lending their talents to the show. See the full, star-studded list of drummers that have already signed up to pay tribute below, likely to grow as the event approaches.

The Moby Dicks (Brent Woods on guitar, Chas West on vocals, Dorian Heartsong on bass, Stephen LeBlanc on keys and Brian Tichy on guitar) will keep the pace, playing the Led Zeppelin songs throughout the night with the monster guest list of drummers and are promising fans “up to 5 hours of Zep tunes, unique arrangements, intros and endings.”
