Former Guns N’ Roses Drummer Matt Sorum Marries Adriane ‘ACE’ Harper
Congratulations are in order for drummer Matt Sorum and his longtime girlfriend Adriane “Ace” Harper. The happy couple finally tied the knot on Saturday, Oct. 12, in Palm Springs, Calif. surrounded by their family and friends.
According to US Magazine, Sorum (whose extensive resume includes stints with Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver) and his singer/dancer bride had a truly star–studded affair for their nuptials, with musicians like Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Dave Navarro, Billy Idol and Sorum’s Velvet Revolver bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan all in attendance. Actors Jane Lynch and John Stamos were also on hand to help celebrate the special day.
In true rock star fashion, Sorum wore a tux crafted by celeb designer John Varvatos, who also outfitted the groomsmen and attended the wedding.
Sorum and Harper met seven years ago at a Super Bowl party and got engaged back in December of 2011. The two also collaborate musically in Diamond Baby with Harper providing vocals for the band formed by Sorum.
