Meinl have recorded a short video for every single cymbal which is in their current assortment and have now started to upload all of them onto their website. On every cymbal introduction page you can now listen to its respective video. Just use our ‘Cymbal Finder’ to search for your favourite cymbal and as an additional feature, you can now see and hear it in the video right there on the same page.
Besides that, they have started a new YouTube channel dedicated to only these official cymbal videos. There you can listen to all of these videos in one spot. You can even share and embed these clips on your social media sites, or wherever else you wish to.
So far only MB20, Byzance traditional, Byzance brilliant, and Byzance vintage videos are available, but they are working on new videos every day and are adding them permanently until all of them are online.
Also, to make every video sound as natural as possible, every video was recorded using just two Beyerdynamic overhead microphones and no EQ.
