Drum specialist Sonix has revealed that it has updated the specifications of its best selling 924 drum kit ahead of the London Drum Show, which takes place at London’s Olympia on October 12th-13th.
The all-inclusive fusion and rock 924 series is set to retain its six ply poplar shell, yet will see the overall quality of he hardware given a full upgrade. There will also be a number of additional extras, with Evans heads being included as standard.
Meanwhile, the Sonix 922 series has also been reconfigured to a fusion and rock size. Made from 100 per cent six ply, all-birch shells, the range will be available in two new high-gloss lacquered finishes and will be shown alongside the existing Jazz Kit.
As with the 924 series, all drums within the 922 range will come with upgraded hardware and Evans heads as standard.
Elsewhere, the firm will also be unveiling a new selection of natural lacquer, high-gloss finish traditional snare drums with both maple and birch shells in six sizes.
