Roger Taylor And Others To Headline MPAC

In just two short months, the Mayo Performing Arts Center will have acts from artists of all sorts of genres, from pop to rock, and even parody.

The artists will be performing on the stage of the nonprofit organization in September 2013.

The Queen Extravaganza: Sept. 11 at 8 p.m.

Produced and sanctioned by Queen drummer Roger Taylor, this performance will be a nine-piece band with four vocalists, which perform ‘uncanny’ versions of Queen hits. Said Taylor of the band’s essence, “Nobody does our music better.” Tickets are $39-$59.

Don Felder: An Evening at the Hotel California: Sept. 13 at 8 p.m.

Don Felder, the former lead guitarist of The Eagles, who co-wrote the iconic “Hotel California” and whose guitar work can be heard on “Life in the Fast Lane” and “One of These Nights,” will be performing Eagles favorites along with music off of a new release, titled Road to Forever. Tickets are $39-$69.

Kenny Loggins with the Blue Sky Riders: Sept. 14 at 8 p.m.

Loggins, one of the best-selling artists of the 1970s and 1980s, will be performing a night of hits such as “This is It,” “Footloose,” “Celebrate Me Home,” “Heart to Heart,” “I’m Alright,” “Danger Zone” and more. Tickets are $59-$79.
