Red Bull Amplifier recently launched to help the most innovative new music start-ups make their next step by plugging them into Red Bull’s global channels and international network of music properties and events. The program is a creative partnership designed to help startups that are ready to scale their business by engaging them with Red Bull’s networks and enhancing its existing music properties with innovative technology in the process. Submissions will be screened by the initiative’s panel of experts from the music and technology worlds including the Mercury-nominated Ghostpoet, former hip-hop mag editor and Red Bull Music Academy’s own Davide Bortot, Venturebeat’s Ciara Byrne and SoundCloud’s Dave Haynes.
The top applicants will be shortlisted and invited to meet with the panel to discuss their ideas. Those businesses that can most benefit from the project will then work with Red Bull.
There are no limits or expectations on the kind of ideas the initiative is seeking to support: the only criteria for those interested is that their product is innovative, and enhances the music experience for fan or artist (or both).
